Wire and Plunge EDM
Stellar Technologies has extensive capabilities in both wire
and plunge EDM. Difficult configurations can be produced
through wire cutting and complex electrode plunge cutting.
High volume small hole production is best suited to the EDM
process, as are complex slots and patterns. Wall thickness
dictates whether laser or EDM process is best suited. The thin
wall components are usually laser cut and the thick wall are
usually EDM cut.
Stellar Technologies EDM equipment is automated for
continuous production and many machines can be
monitored by a single machinist.
