Neurostimulation Lead Assembly Feasibility Program.

Stellar Technologies, Inc. will produce sample neurostimulation leads for a feasibility study of your design. We will assist in developing the design for manufacturability for your product and produce up to 5 lead assemblies for a maximum cost of $15,000. This includes all design assist process and tooling development and all materials required. Assemblies will be produced within 6 weeks after design approval.

Stellar Technologies Increases its Offerings to the Medical Device Industry Through $1.5 Million Investments in Advanced Manufacturing Equipment and Expanded Technical Personnel.
Brooklyn Park, MN – September 28, 2009 – Stellar Technologies (www.stellar-technologies.com) has increased its capabilities through investments in high-tech manufacturing, inspection and cleaning equipment. Being added to Stellar’s expansive list of machining equipment are three 4-axis Vertical Milling Centers and two 11-axis Swiss Lathe. In addition to the machining equipment, Stellar Technologies has added a dual spindle, 8-filar, automated coil winder and a state-of-the-art fiber laser tubing cutter with an automated feed system. In support of this manufacturing equipment expansion, Stellar Technologies has also invested in additional inspection and cleaning equipment, including digital vision systems, automated dual camera, an electropolishing station and an ultrasonic cleaning system with a six foot long capacity.
Stellar Technologies has also increased its workforce by over 15% in the last year. This increase includes the addition of four engineers in support of its expansion in machining, coiling, laser cutting/welding and clean room assembly capabilities. All of these engineers have a minimum of ten years experience in the medical device industry and will also help support Stellar’s growing design and development business in the manufacture of cardiac and neuro stimulation lead assemblies.
